Erasmus is a program that started in 1987, aiming to promote cultural exchange among students, a European Union student mobility program which, since  2014, has been known as Erasmus+. It is not just a simple intercultural exchange program: it is an experience that goes beyond school. Erasmus+ is not only about studying, but also about personal growth: it is an opportunity to challenge yourself, learn new things, and discover who you are in a different context. In addition to cultural enrichment, Erasmus encourages responsibility, as it pushes you to step out of your comfort zone and to adapt to every situation, helping you to build greater self-confidence and personal autonomy. During your experience, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and strengthen your language skills, but the most interesting part is the social dimension: meeting students from different European countries and experiencing new emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Experience!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In mid-November 2024, together with four of my schoolmates, I had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ project \u201cBidusa,\u201d for a week, an experience that took us to Narva in Estonia. Everything began on November 18th, when our Erasmus adventure in Estonia officially started. After arriving in Tallinn, we were warmly welcomed at the IVKHK vocational school in Narva. There, we met students and teachers from Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Croatia, with whom we shared enthusiasm and curiosity from the very beginning. On the first day, we visited the school and started working with Weka software, which allowed us to analyze data and collaborate in small groups to solve complex problems. The next day, we moved to Tallinn for an excursion combining history and technology: walking through the historic city center let us discover the beauty and culture of the country. The most interesting experience was visiting the largest data centre in the Baltic States, where we could see up close how data is managed and how fundamental it is in our daily lives. In the following days, we participated in creative and technological workshops, such as upcycling and 3D modeling, which allowed us to appreciate the combination of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, a formative and stimulating experience. Working in groups with foreign students taught us how important cooperation is, even between people from different cultures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Erasmus experience in Estonia was a unique opportunity for my personal and cultural growth. Beyond technical skills, I learned to collaborate, respect other cultures, and communicate in English with greater confidence. Finally, I took with me the connections, emotions, and memories of an experience that truly enriched me and that I will never forget!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Erasmus \u00e8 un progetto nato nel 1987 con l\u2019obiettivo di favorire lo scambio culturale tra studenti, programma di mobilit\u00e0 studentesca dell\u2019Unione Europea, che, a partire dal 2014, ha preso il nome di Erasmus+. Non si tratta di un semplice programma di scambio interculturale: \u00e8 un\u2019esperienza che va oltre la scuola. Erasmus+ non \u00e8 solo studio, ma anche crescita personale: \u00e8 un\u2019opportunit\u00e0 per mettersi in gioco, imparare cose nuove e scoprire se stessi in un contesto diverso. Oltre all\u2019arricchimento culturale, Erasmus stimola la responsabilit\u00e0 in quanto ti induce ad uscire dalla propria comfort zone e adattarsi ad ogni situazione, contribuendo a costruire una maggiore fiducia in se stessi e autonomia personale. Durante l\u2019esperienza si ha la possibilit\u00e0 di approfondire le proprie conoscenze e rafforzare le proprie competenze linguistiche, ma l\u2019aspetto pi\u00f9 bello \u00e8 la dimensione sociale: incontrare studenti di Paesi diversi e vivere nuove emozioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La mia esperienza!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A met\u00e0 Novembre del 2024, insieme ad altri quattro studenti, ho avuto la possibilit\u00e0 di partecipare per una settimana al progetto Erasmus+ \u201cBidusa\u201d, un\u2019esperienza che ci ha portato a Narva in Estonia.<\/strong>Tutto \u00e8 iniziato il 18 novembre, quando ha preso il via la nostra avventura Erasmus in Estonia. Dopo l\u2019arrivo a Tallinn, siamo stati accolti con grande calore presso la scuola professionale IVKHK di Narva. L\u00ec abbiamo conosciuto studenti e insegnanti provenienti da Spagna, Turchia, Bulgaria e Croazia, con cui abbiamo condiviso fin da subito entusiasmo e curiosit\u00e0. Durante la prima giornata abbiamo visitato la scuola e iniziato a lavorare con il software Weka, che ci ha permesso di analizzare dati e collaborare in piccoli gruppi per risolvere problemi complessi. Il giorno successivo ci siamo spostati a Tallinn per un\u2019escursione tra storia e tecnologia: passeggiare tra le vie del centro storico ci ha fatto scoprire la bellezza e la cultura del Paese, ma l\u2019esperienza pi\u00f9 interessante \u00e8 stata la visita al pi\u00f9 grande data center dei Paesi Baltici, dove abbiamo potuto osservare da vicino come vengono gestiti i dati e quanto siano fondamentali nella nostra quotidianit\u00e0. Nei giorni seguenti abbiamo preso parte a laboratori creativi e tecnologici, come il workshop di upcycling e la modellazione 3D, che ci hanno permesso di apprezzare l\u2019unione di sostenibilit\u00e0, innovazione e collaborazione, un\u2019esperienza formativa e stimolante. Lavorare in gruppo con studenti stranieri ci ha insegnato quanto sia importante la cooperazione, anche tra persone di culture diverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019esperienza Erasmus in Estonia \u00e8 stata un\u2019occasione unica di crescita personale e culturale. Oltre alle competenze tecniche, ho imparato a collaborare, a rispettare altre culture e a comunicare in inglese con maggiore sicurezza. Infine, ho portato con me i legami, le emozioni e i ricordi di un\u2019esperienza che mi ha davvero arricchita e che non dimenticher\u00f2!
